The Lodge at Chichen Itza offers 39 bungalows decorated with the work of local artisans: ceramics, weaving, stained-glass and beautifully carved wood. These spacious bungalows were built in the traditional Mayan style using materials such as wood, stone, palms, local marble and palapas (thatched roofs). Although rustic in appearance, all rooms offer modern comfort and amenities.
The hotel restaurants offer Mexican and international fare along with traditional regional food. Yucatecan food is famous throughout Mexico for its variety of rich sauces and spicy marinades. The restaurants, all shared by our adjoining sister hotel, Mayaland Hotel and Bungalows, are decorated in an authentic Mexican style full of Mayan motifs.
