Mansion Real Morelia is a magnificent historic building with fine colonial style architecture, which is home to a very elegant hotel. Prior to becoming a hotel, the building used to be the Viceroy Don Juan de Ortega y Montanez Archbishop’s Episcopal Palace. It was later donated to the Juanino Religious Order. After that, the building became the Hotel del Campo in 1883 and in 1930 changed its name to Hotel Europa. The hotel’s current décor is a blend of 17th century colonial style and with modern decorative furnishings.
Located in charming Morelia in the state of Michoacan, this excellent property is set in the downtown historic district of the city, close to the Cathedral.
The hotel offers 29 guestrooms and suites with an eclectic design that blends colonial with a few modern decorative details, creating a uniquely cozy style.
The hotel’s restaurant and bar offer delicious regional specialties and international cuisine accompanied by excellent beverages. The restaurant is set in the heart of the hotel, which makes it a fine gathering place.
